What is Peacae Resume?
A focused résumé editor: write your content, shape typography and layout, and export when you’re ready. Stay on what you want to say—not on wrestling margins, tables, and spacing the way many builders still expect.

How do I get started?
Sign in, create or open a résumé, give it any title you want, then fill in blank placeholders. Nothing forces a sample career type or canned bio on you.

Do I need an account?
Yes. Signing in opens the builder and keeps each résumé in your cloud account so a closed tab doesn’t wipe hours of work. The same Peacae login works on other Peacae apps if you use them.

Is Peacae Resume free?
Yes. Themes, fonts, layouts, header controls, and PDF / Markdown exports are free. You sign in to save—not to unlock the editor.

Do you use AI on my résumé?
No. We don’t run AI on your content or design choices. What you write and how you present it stays yours, end to end.

What happens to my data?
Cloud save is for your sync only. We don’t use your résumé for training, ads, analytics on content, or anything else. Export anytime as your own backup.

Can I keep multiple résumé versions?
Yes. Create separate résumés from the Library rail or Resume menu—each one is its own cloud row with its own title, content, and design settings.

Can I rename a résumé?
Yes. Click the title in the builder header, type a new name, and press Enter. The name is what you see in the Library list and what we use when exporting files.

What can I customize?
A lot: font pairings, color themes, page layout, summary style, section dividers, page frame and frame color, spacing, type sizes, profile photo, and a full Header section (name size/position, header height, surfaces, background, gradient overlay, accent line, and more).

Where are the design controls?
Everything lives in the Design rail on the right—document style at the top, Header controls further down, plus photo and display toggles. No separate Studio dialog.

Can I add a profile photo?
Yes. Upload from the Design rail. Choose circle, rounded, or square, and set photo position in the Header controls.

How do I edit text?
Use Edit mode to change text directly on the canvas, or open Content for a structured form (name, jobs, skills, education, and the rest). Cancel restores the previous snapshot when you need an undo path.

What export formats are available?
PDF for applications and sharing, and Markdown (.md) for version control or plain-text archives. Word export is not offered.

Will my PDF match what I see in the builder?
Export captures the résumé at design width so layout and styling stay close to the canvas—without edit chrome or mobile scaling. Always skim the PDF once before you send it.

Is the PDF ATS-friendly?
PDF is the format most employers expect. For maximum ATS robustness, also keep a Markdown or plain-text copy of your content. Design choices (frames, columns, photos) can affect how some parsers read a file.

Which languages does the product support?
The interface is available in English, French, and Swahili. Your résumé content can be written in any language you need.

Does the builder work on mobile?
Yes. On narrower screens the Library and Design rails collapse into panel navigation so you can still edit and export. Desktop gives the fullest side-by-side layout.

When does cloud save run?
After you change content or design, the builder waits a few seconds, then syncs. The header button is Save until that finishes, then Saved. Click Save to write immediately.

What if I clear my browser data?
Signed-in résumés live in your account, so clearing the browser doesn’t delete them. Still export PDF or Markdown regularly as a personal backup.

Can I use Peacae Resume offline?
You need a connection to sign in and sync. Once the builder is loaded you can keep editing briefly if the network drops, but cloud save requires connectivity again.

Is this built for teams?
Today it’s for individuals—each person signs in and manages their own résumés. Shared team workspaces are on the longer-term roadmap.

How does Markdown mode work?
Open Content in the builder header, then the Import tab. Help in that dialog has the format and AI prompt. Edit the markdown, then Update. Close to see the Letter pages. Map is for a fresh paste. Overflow packs from the live canvas; use Optimize structure to keep skills on page 1.

How do multiple pages work?
The builder measures US Letter sheets as you edit. Overflow continues on page 2 automatically. Click Optimize structure (Design rail or Content → Structure) to consolidate skills on page 1 and redistribute education, experience, and projects. Skill groups stay contiguous—they never split across pages with other sections in between.

Who makes Peacae Resume?
Peacae Resume is part of the Peacae product suite by Wekify LLC. The same account can work across Peacae apps as more tools ship.

Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes. No credit card, no trial gate. Themes, fonts, layouts, header tools, and PDF / Markdown exports stay free. You sign in so résumés save to your account—not to unlock features.

Will you add paid plans later?
Core résumé editing and export stay accessible. As the broader Peacae platform grows, optional paid modules may appear for other tools—not as a lock on today’s Design rail and exports.
